Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Renewable Energy Development Assistant with a background in renewable energy, preferably solar photovoltaics, to join our team. This role supports our renewable energy development projects through contract management, bid preparation, research, and project coordination. As a Development Assistant, you’ll work across various teams to drive project success, ensuring timely execution and efficient project processes. Key Responsibilities

· Support project development by managing contracts, preparing documentation, and monitoring timelines.

· Assist in the bidding process, including gathering materials, estimating, and assembling bid packages.

· Coordinate across teams to manage schedules, ensure efficient project workflows, and uphold confidentiality through NDAs.

· Conduct research and analysis to support project planning and feasibility assessments.

· Maintain and organize documents, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Suite, SharePoint, and the company CRM.

· Prepare and draft professional correspondence, technical reports, and presentation materials.

· Provide general administrative support, including calendar management, organizing meetings, and handling project documentation.

· Utilize the company CRM for project management and tracking to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met

 

 

Qualifications

· Background in renewable energy, with experience in solar photovoltaics preferred.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, and Adobe Suite.

· Strong experience in contract management, technical writing, and time management.

· Familiarity with the bidding process, construction estimating, and research capabilities.

· Skilled in cross-functional collaboration and managing multiple deadlines.

 

 

Preferred:

· Notary certification, NABCEP certification, or equivalent renewable energy credentials.

· Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

· 85 WPM typing speed.

· Negotiation skills and project coordination experience.

· Experience in Procore and Salesforce.
